Dress Code

East Berks' is a traditional golf club but we understand modern golfing fashions. We believe our dress code strikes the correct balance for our members and guests to feel comfortable and smart. All members and guests are requested to respect the spirit of our dress code and familiarise themselves with it prior to arriving at the Club.

SAfe Guarding Policies

Children and Young People - East Berkshire golf club understands that every adult has a responsibility to protect children and young people from abuse.  It follows therefore that sporting organisations, and this includes golf clubs, have a moral and potentially legal obligation to ensure they provide the highest standards of protection for children and young people within their care. Because of this the ‘Children in Golf Strategy Group' (CiG) together with England Golf have produced a set of guidelines for County Golf Unions and their affiliated golf clubs. East Berks has developed their policy and procedures for children and young people based CiG's and Eg's Child Protection Awareness program with the title of “Keeping children safe in sport”. Please click here to view East Berks' "Children and Young People Safeguarding Policy and Procedures"

Adults - East Berkshire Golf Club is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment for all individuals involved in golf.  Safeguarding duties apply to an adult who has needs for care and support. who is experiencing, or is at risk of, abuse or neglect; and as a result of those care and support needs is unable to protect themselves from either the risk of, or the experience of, abuse or neglect. East Berks' has developed their policy based on the principles contained within the UK legislation and Government Guidance  and the Safeguarding Adults Boards policy and procedures. Please  click here  to view East Berks' "Safeguarding Adults Policy"
