East Berkshire Golf Club is very proud of its Professional staff. Our head Professional, Jason Brant will celebrate his 20th year here at East Berkshire in April 2021 and during that time he has brought improvements to many of the members golf swings using his PGA professional training and a down to earth easy to understand approach to coaching us mortals around the golf course.

Jason also has an extremely talented and professional team working with him; Paul Newman , Harry Metcalfe and Tom Darling (all PGA professionals). Paul has been with us for 11 years and continues to grow his coaching academy ranging from complete beginner to low handicap golfers. Paul also has a passion for playing and represents the club at local, regional and national level. Paul runs a junior academy every Saturday for members and non members and junior camps are run throughout the school term holidays alongside Harry; these are becoming more and more popular.

Harry has been with us for 4 years and is in his final year of PGA training. He is now coaching regularly at the club, Eagle House and Wellington College, which is a great honour to have achieved. Harry also runs a golf session every Wednesday for beginners called 'Get into Golf'.

Also, did you know that Jason has been the Head Coach for Berks, Bucks and Oxon County team for 10 years. This is a team that Jason played for as an Amateur and coached a certain young Tyrell Hatton, so could Jason have coached the next world number 1? Jason also has been the Elite Squad Coach at Wellington College for 18 years. Jason is soon to be the owner of the new GC Quad launch monitor used by players like Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau and Masters champion Dustin Johnson, which at over £20,000 is a huge investment for the benefit of our members.

Jason and his team of professionals can work with you on any specific areas of your game that you are struggling with, with the new edition of our new Short Game Area (SGA). The GC Quad is completely portable so can be used in the simulator, practice ground and the golf course.

Paul Newman: £45 (30mins), £55 (45mins), £65 (1hour), £100 (2hours).

Harry Metcalfe: £45 (30mins), £55 (45mins), £65 (1hour).

Tom Darling: £40 (30mins), £50 (45mins), £60 (1hour).
